About us
Hernandez Mexican Food is our family’s restaurant. The name originated from our grandma’s last name.
More than ten years ago, we began as a food truck on Dayton Mountain, which many people knew as Mountain Mexican Food. Now, Hernandez has grown into an amazing place we like to call home.
Our customers are like family to us. We strive for each customer to feel welcome and love our food.

Tacos de birria
Available only Friday-Sunday!
The beef we use to make our Birria tacos is tender and shredded. Every tortilla is drenched in a delicious broth and pan-fried with cheese that has melted just right. Tacos are served with cilantro, onions, and lime. They also come with a side dish of consome broth for dipping.

Our fresh-flavored waters, made with real fruit, are all the hype! We have a different flavor just about every day so we recommend you try our water of the day. The mountain's favorite is pineapple water.
